Halfway between Ludlow, California and Las Vegas, Nevada, in a remote corner of the Mojave Desert, is a place called the Bacon Strip Ranch. It's a desert dirt airstrip surrounded by 100,000 acres of some of the most beautiful and majestic desert land in the Mojave. On the way home from a dimensional pioneering adventure with the some of the lads, the wind was just right and I snapped this photograph. This is one of my favorites, both in memory and in beauty.
